Why is sQuizya not SCORM compliant?
In the early stages of design our team tried very hard to find a way to make sQuizya SCORM compliant so it would work with existing LMSs. In fact, this would have saved us a lot of time and money. Unfortunately, although SCORM is a realy powerful tool for the sharing of online training courses, the features that we felt were essential for sQuizya are not catered for by the Shareable Content Object Reference Model.
One such feature is the unique form of copyright offered by sQuizya which protects authors yet offers schools what they want, need and deserve - quality resources that remain editable and therefore adaptable. By being stand-alone, sQuizya maximises educational outcomes for students whilst remaining excellent value for schools. There are no high costs associated with integrating sQuizya into a school.
